Cactus is a Common single-harvest Forgotten Isle plant. Base value 10 Pearls (30 at Lush) with a 90-second grow time and 0.08 kg base weight. Cactus wild nodes are harvested with a Knife — the starter tool given to every player, so Cactus is the very first Forgotten Isle crop new arrivals can farm before spending Pearls at the Roger's shop for a Machete.

Cactus Strategy
Cactus is the tutorial crop and starter target. It uses the free Knife you already own, so start by cutting the wild Cactus nodes near the dock, then plant the seeds on one of your island plots. Base value is intentionally low — treat Cactus as a Flora Book unlock and Pearl-farming stepping stone toward the Machete and Barrel Cactus, not as an end-game crop.
